St Katherine’s School, its staff and volunteers, is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We ensure that consistent effective safeguarding procedures are in place to support families, students and staff at school. All concerns are reported to the school's Designated Safeguarding Lead in compliance with information sharing advice guidance and confidential records of these concerns are kept.

If you have any serious concerns about your child or any other student at St Katherine’s School please contact Katharine Crocker (Designated Safeguard Lead), she is supported by a team of teachers and support staff and she knows who to contact for the best advice and help. This includes Sián Howe who is the Deputy Designated Safeguard Lead. The Designated Safeguard Lead and Deputy DSL are experienced in using the appropriate degree of confidentiality.
