Year 10 Business trip to St Nicholas Market

Year 10 BTEC Business students recently visited St Nicholas Market in Bristol to help them complete their business planning assignment.

Over two visits, 43 students  met the market manager who spent time discussing how to start small partnership business, including marketing ideas, laws, equipment and resources required. Students visited behind the scenes and spent time talking to different market stall holders about the advantages and disadvantages of running your own business

Students had time to investigate market stalls, ask questions and conduct some primary research into their own business ideas – a fantastic visit giving the students lots of exciting ideas!
