Y11 students celebrate fantastic results
St Katherine's students have been celebrating receiving their GCSE and vocational qualification results.
54% of students achieved English and maths Grades 9-5 and 71% achieved 9-4. 32 students achieved a grade 9 in one or more subjects with 74 grade 9s in total, representing 7% of grades.
There were further superb results achieved across the curriculum. Subjects enjoying 9-7 success include the further maths qualification (75%), biology (38%), chemistry (46%), food preparation and nutrition (40%), philosophy and beliefs (59%), English literature (37%), English Language (36%) and geography (33%).
Students also enjoyed success in vocational subjects, reflecting St Katherine's continued strength in this area of the curriculum, achieving D*-D sport (42%), performing arts (20%) and engineering (54%).
