World Book Day - Whodunnits, Where's Wally and bacon butties!
Once again, St Kaths students and staff went all out to celebrate the joy of books and reading during World Book Day!
40 students kicked off the day in style with an early book brunch, enjoying some peaceful reading time tastily accompanied by a bacon roll.
The invitation to dress as a favourite book character always seems to spark the imagination and we had some fantastic costumes as always - and quite a few staff Wallies! Can you spot them in the photo?
At lunchtime 17 quiz teams pitted their book knowledge against each other over three tricky rounds. Congratulations to the overall winners, Steph and Wren in Year 11 who chalked up an impressive score and claimed a narrow victory.
Year 7 were given the extra task to unravel a whodunnit mystery during the day. They had to piece together clues as teachers read an episode in each lesson throughout the day before the answer was finally revealed in Lesson 5.
Huge thanks to everyone who took part in our events, helping to spread such a positive message about the power of books and reading.
