Students' golden success in national maths challenge

Congratulations to the Year 7 & 8 students who achieved Gold, Silver and Bronze awards in the recent UK Mathematics Trust Junior Maths Challenge. Out of the 300,000 students taking part nationally, only 40% achieve this recognition with less than 7% landing a Gold award.

This year Gold award winners Harry Hodson (Year 8) and Adam Britton (Year 7) performed exceptionally well and are part of the top 3% students nationally invited to the next stage – the Kangaroo Challenge. We wish them all the best in the competition next week.
