Stephen Lawrence Day

Students have been commemorating Stephen Lawrence Day by watching a powerful video, created by the Stephen Lawrence Foundation, during tutor time. They have been looking at the timeline of events following Stephen Lawrence's murder, and how activism and public opinion led to changes in the law.

It is particularly timely that we are remembering Stephen Lawrence today, following the news of the conviction of the police officer who murdered George Floyd.
