Epic storytelling from Year 7
As a culmination of their study of Homer’s The Odyssey, all of Year 7 competed to be the best group of storytellers.
Dressed in togas, everyone enjoyed a Grecian banquet and some superbly creative narratives from their peers. Each class put forward their best group with 7D coming out as winners. Well done Dom Llewellyn, Bruno Thomassett, Matthew Grace and Jack Thoburn.
The competition was supported and judged by Hannah Walsh from the Classics Hub at Bristol University who was very impressed by the quality of students’ work. Hannah also presented prizes and certificates.
