Congratulations Yousafzai House!
The winners of the 2020 House Championship are Yousafzai House!
Congratulations to all of the staff and students in Yousafzai House who have been guided through a difficult year so expertly by Miss Andrews. Your consistency has been superb and you have managed to hold tight to your core values throughout whatever this academic year has thrown at us all. Unfortunately we are unable to present this trophy to you all in a final House assembly, but the current circumstances do not in any way detract from your achievements. Worthy winners indeed!
It is notable that the points gap between first place and Turing House who finished second is a mere 3 points. Turing raise the Sports Cup this year and have engaged superbly with the House Championship in lockdown. Yousafzai were given a very close run by The Blues and Turing should be proud of their achievements this year. Congratulations to everyone in Turing House, not least Mrs Price whose ability to motivate the team during lockdown has been second to none.
In a remarkable turn of events, no House finishes in fourth place this year and Pankhurst and Stephenson tie for third place. Both Pankhurst and Stephenson have cause to celebrate and a particular mention should go to Mr Thomas's Stephenson House whose commitment to accelerated reader is a credit to all. Similarly, Mr Murdoch's Pankhurst House have made great strides this year in focussing on the the importance of being their best selves and earning their status positively. Well done one and thank you to everyone who has given their best for their House this year.
Happy summer everyone and congratulations once again to Yousafzai House!
