A level Literature students' exclusive visit to theatre archive
A Level Literature students relished the opportunity to put their analytical skills to practical use when they visited Bristol University’s Theatre Archive.
Students were given an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of this world class research facility, seeing rare artefacts like Henry Irving’s duelling pistols. Even more absorbing was the opportunity to scrutinise items from the collection which illuminated our study of Marlowe’s ambiguous tale of Promethean endeavour, Doctor Faustus.
